Hi Danielle,
I agree that educators miss out on including families in education through the use of video. Many parents want to assist, but do not know how. Last year I recorded a brief video every week explaining to families what our weeks focus was. Parents loved them! I could track how many hits each video got based on the analytics within youtube. Then, my parents heard that I was recording math video tutorials for my daily math rotations. Parents wanted those too. Why not since I was already recording them for kids! Great job!
